You would be surprised on how much I feel alone in a crowded room or how often life goes by without a hello from the people around me. In my personality of constantly wanting to connect, I’m often left isolated from the world around me. But then I remember that though I may be left alone, it is most often the opportune time that God speaks to me. And when He shares things with me, it is the most glorious and deepest of secrets. And though I long to share the incredible things He has shown me with the whole world, they are treasures only He and I keep as trying to explain them to the world would be like trying to explain the physics of the universe to a small child.

The more I’m left alone, the quieter I become, the more God speaks to me. And though I may not see the fruit of it in this world, I will see it in the Kingdom to come!
